This is my view as I knit on the couch. It’s funny, I used to knit while I watched TV and now I feed the kiddo while I watch TV and watch the kiddo while I knit. I have been knitting, it just doesn’t make for a glamorous in progress shot. I’m on the last sleeve ribbing of the Retro Redux Shrug. After I finish that, it is a matter of picking up a ton of stitches and doing the ribbing for the neck and body of the shrug. I think it will look nice over two black tank tops that I have, so I’m eager to finish it. I need to extend my post-pregnancy wardrobe. I want to be finished with maternity clothes but I also don’t fit into a lot of my regular clothes, yet.
In other crafty news, I am working on birth announcements! I am ordering the pictures for them this week and addressing them. I hope they’ll be ready to go out by the end of the week. I’ll post pictures when I get them finished.
