T-Bone’s week started off kind of rough with a dumpster diving (okay, just our trash can) expedition on Sunday involving the ingestion of pecans and hershey’s kisses among other things.  I understand the danger chocolate can pose to a dog, so I was freaked out, but he survived okay.  Good thing we have tile floors, because he left us some prezzies Monday afternoon, that’s all I’m sayin’.

I did get the good kind of prezzies on Monday, too!  I didn’t even notice them in the process of the clean-up/yelling expedition that was being led by the husband that night.  However, he did finally direct me to the large box in the front room from my secret pal!  Here’s what I found when I opened the box…

Of course, once again, everything was perfectly color coordinated, even down to the note inside.  I opened the little bag (which I will be using for small project transportation) first and discovered…

A whole mess of manicure/pedicure kits.  I especially love the little thing that looks like a match book in the front, it’s a whole thing of mini emery boards!  It will be perfect for my purse.  Then, I opened the little box which held…

an assortment of other bath type things, including bath confetting in the blue tube!  What fun!  I figured that was probably it, but I dug through the tissue paper below just to make sure and was shocked to discover that there were things underneath there!  Wow!  The two envelopes opened to reveal…

The new Interweave Knits (which I hadn’t purchased yet, but wanted), the Stitch ‘n Bitch Journal, and a cute beachy notepad and matching pen.  I hadn’t really shown much interest in the Stitch ‘n Bitch Journal previously because other knitting journals had not impressed me.  They just hadn’t contained things that I thought I would get much use from.  Let me tell you, this one is different!  I’ll do a full review soon, but for now I will tell you it is amazing.

Once again, my Secret Pal did not disappoint and really motivated me to do more for my pal to share the love.  This Secret Pal gig has been quite fun for me, so I truly appreciate the time and effort my pal has put in to spoiling me!  It really turned my not-so-good week around!  I’m going to go do my nails now, I’m in serious need of a pedicure before heading to the beach this weekend!
