Nope, not me, I’m already happily hitched. But, my husband and I are both in two different weddings this weekend. I am in the house party of a wedding for a college friend and he is a groomsman in a wedding of another college friend. The glitch is that the weddings are taking place five hours from each other and one is at 2 p.m. with the other at 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately, we will not be attending together. I will be serving cake. You have to meet me to realize that this is a bad idea. I am not exactly what you would call graceful. When I serve casseroles or lasagna, they just look like little piles, not nice neat squares. I’m afraid the same will happen to the cake. Oh, and I’m wearing a black dress. So, I’ll be a frosting covered clutz. Should be fun. This is true friendship. 🙂

So, hopefully I’ll have some downtime here and there to knit a bit. I’m bringing my no-sweat pants with me so I can make some progress. It’s gonna be a long weekend because weddings and drama are closely associated. It’s drama that is worth it in the end, but drama nonetheless. I’ll be home late Saturday night, so life will regain some normalcy on Sunday. Have a great weekend!
