I had SO much fun at Rhinebeck, but I didn’t get to go home at the end of the weekend, I went out of town for work instead. I would be able to give you the Rhinebeck re-cap had I brought my camera cord with me, but alas, I did not. So, the re-cap will have to wait until Monday when I return home.
In the meantime, driving out of town for work on Sunday night I hit a deer! I got really lucky in that I saw it in time to dodge it and only clipped it (poor deer). I ended up spinning out and facing the wrong way on the shoulder of the freeway. It was majorly scary, but only caused minimal damage to my car. A really nice fellow driver in a CRV pulled over on the shoulder to make sure that I could keep going. It made me happy that there are still nice people in the world.
Rhinebeck re-cap to come on Monday!
Yikes! That is scary! I’m glad you’re OK.
It was so great to see you! I’m excited to see your pictures–I didn’t take ANY.
ugh–deer! After we left you on Sunday, we went to iHop and a lady in the parking lot warned me about the deer on the road (typical random old lady talk). Glad you are ok!
Glad you are OK. We can wait for Rhinebeck photos.
Deer in the headlights!
