Oh my goodness. Sorry for falling off the face of the earth there, but I haven’t had much to blog about. I’ve been knitting knitting and knitting some more on the sleeves that will never end. They are the sleeves for my Audrey. Some people talk about Sleeve Island, but I think I’m stranded on Sleeve-catraz. It’s the mysterious island prison that has trapped me for several weeks. Okay, so I started the sleeves before I went on vacation and didn’t pick them up again until this weekend, so I guess I’ve had a little break. But, I think that’s what makes it feel like I’ve been working on them forever. I’m finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and hope I can finish them this weekend.

In mostly unrelated news, I took a sick day yesterday. Nothin’ major, just girly madness. That helped dramatically in increasing my sleeve output. I have a weekend coming up on wedding madness (a bachelorette party Friday and wedding Saturday) and a thesis to work on (I’ve finally gotten the ball rolling on that), so there won’t be too much knitting progress. I am hoping to take all my summery yarn goodness out of the closet and spread it out on the guest bed so I can determine what to knit next. I have a ton of ideas, I just need to prioritize. I will document it so you can help me choose my next step.
