As strange as it sounds, I’ve knit me a flower. It’s supposed to be a Gerbera Daisy. It reminds me of a cartoon flower and I love it so much I’m a little afraid to felt it. But, I will, because that’s the only way the flower will "bloom" into having some stability. It was pretty fiddly, but fun and quick. I made it with leftover Cascade 220 on the stem and and the petals, and purchased new 220 for the middle. I had purchased some green at Yarntopia the other day, but it turns out I had some lime green in the stash that I like even better! I’ll show you this again soon when it’s all felted and in its "pot".
That. Is. So. CUTE! Love it!
wow – really cool. I can’t wait to see how it looks after felting.
That is so pretty!
CUTE CUTE CUTE
Oh, that’s so cute!
Sarah, that is so pretty!!!
It’s so cool to see your first knitted flower…and you got it done so quickly. I haven’t even unpacked my patterns yet. Thanks for spending a super Saturday with me last weekend. I look forward to keeping in touch!

Aww I like it that way…pre-felting.
Smiles!
