Toward the end of my pregnancy with C2, I couldn’t really handle sitting at my sewing table. Plus, I was so big that the gut just got in the way. My sewing table (which is also my desk) got covered with everything I didn’t want to find a place for at the time. Last week, I conquered the pile of paperwork and cleared off my desk so I could sew again.
Last night, I finally got to work on Carolyn‘s quilt blocks for our Newbee quilting bee. Her month was August to give you an idea of how far behind I am. I still need to finish these but the little block sections went SO fast. I love the whimsical fabrics and am excited to put the final touches on these blocks and get them in the mail!
Oh, and while I’m mentioning Carolyn, go see her post from today. She’s trying to give a book to each of the seventh graders that she’s teaching this year and could use our help!
