Sometimes, it’s good to take a step back and take a break, even if it’s from things you love (no, I’ve already taken a blog break so this isn’t about that). My hand started bothering me, and with the holidays coming up before too long, I decided to take a step back for a week and think about the things I want to accomplish over the next few months. Not to mention the fact that there are (ahem) a few areas of the house that could use my attention. 🙂
So, this week, there is no knitting. No quilting. No spinning. No crafting whatsoever. I kind of don’t know what to do with myself. So far, I have gone to bed early. But, over the next few days, I want to spend my crafting time making some priorities for the coming months and planning what I’d like to do with my time.
As I’m looking toward holiday gifts, I’d love suggestions of things you’ve made that have worked out well for your friends and loved ones! I’m also thinking I’ll largely focus on knitting up some accessories over the coming months, any patterns you’re loving right now? I’ll post what I find and more about my plans as they develop this week!
I love making hot pads from Knitting At Knoon’s pattern. http://www.knittingatknoon.com/coasterspatt.html
They are neat when using Kureyon and self stripe.
