You know the rest!  I've been finding little moments here and there to craft, but I haven't had time to post about it at all.  The good news is that my super busy time at work is almost over!  And, there's a lot of fun coming up!

The kid's birthday is Sunday, so we are hosting a Monkey-themed birthday party on Saturday.  From the cake to the party favors, I have had the most fun planning it.  I can't wait to show you all that we've done (ummm…I may have gone a teensy bit overboard, but it's been fun!).  Any ideas?

Since the kid is almost a year old, I figured it would be good to start his scrapbook.  I have discovered the joy of pre-made sketches (hello, patterns) and have started to get into a groove. 

Starting around the Fourth of July, the kid and I are embarking upon a road trip to see my dad and one of my best friends from college, along with her husband and two kids.  I haven't spent any one on one time with her since before her two year old son was born…it's about time!

And, that's just between now and the beginning of July!  I just have to survive the next two days and fun times are ahead.
