There is actual knitting going on around here!  I am kind of bored with the stocking knitting, so I’m procrastinating on that.  I’ll get back to it in time to give it to my cousin at Thanksgiving, but for now, I am in need of some "instant" gratification that doesn’t require much thought when I’m tired out at the end of the day.  Nothing like small stuff for the kiddo to give you that!  So, I’m making this little elf hat that I found on Ravelry!  I’ve just made it to the decrease rows, but I haven’t knit on it a whole bunch.  Here it is in progress. 

I’m using some Regia mini ringel that I’ve had in the stash since my first Maryland Sheep & Wool.  You’ve probably seen it around the blogisphere because I think a bunch of folks got the same colorway out of the same bin mine came from.  Hopefully next time I’ll have pictures of it on my munchkin’s sweet little fat head!
