When you’re working your butt off. Okay, so it doesn’t really fly, but I didn’t realize how long it had been since I had posted. Last week was a major thesis deadline so I spent every night working on it. It was also a busy week at work (when is it not lately) so my brain was too tired to come up with posts or even knit during any of my "downtime".
The deadline was Friday, though, so this weekend I treated myself to some much needed R&R. I did the laundry, cast on for one of the last squares I need to finish to complete my mom’s afghan, straightened up the house, and caught up on TV and DVDs. An aside, we got the Blockbuster deal that’s like Netflix (only chose blockbuster because the husband can rent 2 games a month from the store included in the price) and I love it! It’s so nice to watch a movie at night instead of the same ole’ tv.
Anyway, I digress. So, now I get to start actually writing my thesis and training hard for my bike ride that’s coming up in April. Holy cow, that’s crazy. I’m working out every day, in some form or another, and trying to squeeze in long rides on the weekends. Knitting is fitting in there somewhere, but not often enough.
So, that’s where I’ve been.
I’m glad to hear that you’re still alive! I understand being so busy you never have time to blog. Hope it gets a little easier soon, and you get some knitting in.
Wow, I can’t believe you are bike training AND writing your thesis! I am so impressed. Take it easy 🙂
I’m glad you got a little R&R in too. And thanks for posting.
You’re training for the MS150, right? (I used to work in LaGrange, which is the halfway point the first day…) That is awesome of you – best of luck with your training and your thesis.
Hey Sarah! Hope everything is going well with you… I know you’re super busy!
I hope you’re still thinking about coming to MD S&W – I’d love to meet!
You are ambitious! Keep it up, but remember to take care of yourself. John and I just signed up for Netflix, and it’s great but I think it could become a challenge to agree on what movies to put in our queue! 🙂
Hi Miss Sarah! Just stopping by to see how you’re doing. I hope your work load eases up a bit. We miss your updates!
