Two down, two to go.  I’m hoping to have three of them complete by Saturday, with the final one given to the recipient by Monday.  I think it’s possible, even though I’m going to have to take out the cast off edge on one of them and make it longer.  It’s hard to make things for other people, but in this case I figure it’s better for it to be too long rather than not long enough.  I will start on the third one tonight with plans to complete it tommorow night and have a fringin’ Friday for the completed ponchos.  I just want to be finished with these so I can return to my planned Christmas knitting. 

In unrelated news, I’m feeling the effects of the beginning of a cold/flu type illness coming on and I’m not happy about it.  I stayed home yesterday and slept hoping to ward it off, but I’m not sure if it worked.  It has finally gotten cold here and I had frost on my windshield this morning.  I am such a southerner that I didn’t know what to do.  I don’t have an ice scraper, so I just used the ole’ defrost.  It took forever and I was late to work. 

This weekend is full of activity and I am very excited about it, I just need to figure out what to wear to all of the events.  I have a luncheon on Friday, a brunch on Saturday, a girls’ night dinner Saturday night and a play to attend on Sunday afternoon.  I don’t have enough cute clothes to keep up with the holiday events! 

I’m almost finished with Christmas present purchasing, now I just need to go buy wrapping paper and get to work so they can adorn my tree.  I have 4 more gifts to purchase and I already know what I’m going to get the people, so that’s exciting!  Now to just enjoy the holidays!
