Old El Paso

Well, I’m in El Paso for my last week of being away from home for work for a while. It’s SO nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t have an afternoon obligation today, so I’m chillin’ in my hotel room which I hope will equal knitting time as well as some thesis time. The weather here is quite a bit cooler than Houston, so I’ve already worn my poncho and Audrey this week. I can’t wait for the weather to get a bit cooler in Houston so I can wear them more often! Wearing Audrey really makes me want to make another ribbed sweater out of calmer. It just feels SO nice.

I probably won’t post again until I get back into Houston this weekend. Internet here is $10 a day so I just got it for a day to take care of some work stuff. Oh, and Cheryl and Sarah, I was in Arlington, TX, but it would have been cool to be in Arlington, VA. πŸ™‚ More soon!

  1. Glad to see a post, girl! I hope your hotel room there is better than the N.O. Ramada (with the exposed pipe thing and the duct tape on the remote control).

  2. hooray for hearing from you! glad to hear you are enjoying audrey….but of course calmer is the best thing since sliced bread. i still have 10 skeins at home waiting patiently for me to make something with them. πŸ™‚
