This was not supposed to be a busy week. Really. But it has been. My father-in-law has been in from out of town which has translated to having plans every night. We enjoyed his time here, but I will be happy to go home tonight and sit on the couch to knit and watch a little television. In the flurry of activities, little knitting has happened. Tonight, I’m going to work on my Purple Penny. I have put the sleeves on waste yarn and tried it on and I think it’s going to be a great fit! I’m excited about it. I am in the long stockinette stretch of the stomach portion of the top, so it’s nice easy knitting. As if I don’t have a hobby that is enough of an obsession, other hobby ideas have just been flying at me. I want to get supplies to start making homemade cards. I also want to get a sewing machine so I can make things for the house and so maybe I can learn to quilt. I think I’ve lost my mind. 🙂
No you haven’t lost your mind, you’ve found your creative spirit! One hobby leads to another, leads to another, etc….
Lost your mind? Nah… Because if you have, I’m a gonner. I love crochet, sewing, beading, knitting, clay. See how the obsessions take over? 🙂
