I snuck an almost finished object in on ya. This week I wanted something quick, a little instant gratification is nice sometimes. I had started a Sophie bag a week or so ago and picked it back up Monday night. I figured it was a great way to continue practicing continental knitting since it’s in the round and I would still just be doing the knit stitch (I haven’t worked up to purling continental yet). So, last night I finished the knitting on it. I know you can see the purple in it, but you may not be able to see the blue-ish color on top. Also, one strap is blue and one is purple to tie it all together. Tonight, the magic of felting will happen and I’ll most likely start another project.
I got a lot of knitting done last night because there was actually television to watch again. I admit it, Big Brother probably hardly counts as true television, but I can’t help myself. I also watched Amazing Race, which I LOVE! Go Bowling Moms! 🙂 It looks like it will be a really fun season. I may have to designate an easy Amazing Race project, though, because I get rather engrossed in it. The I-Cord for Sophie was just the thing I needed last night, little room for error.
I love the bowling Moms! My Amazing Race project is a baby blanket.
Hooray, another Amazing Race fan! So far I haven’t decided who I’m rooting for… I just know a couple of teams already annoy me! (the brothers, for example…) I’ll definitely be knitting through them, too!
