I had a great weekend, despite the fact that I had to work for a bit on Saturday. I had Friday off, so I had time to clean the house and pick up a friend and her baby up at the airport. They stayed at our house Friday night and we had a great time. Then, Saturday I worked and we had a bit of a mis-communication Saturday night. It appears that I don’t know how to read well because we showed up for a wedding that is not occurring until next week. Smooth move, huh? So, instead we went out to dinner and back to the house. Sunday, my husband went to play paintball (his hobby of choice) and I stayed home. I got the laundry and dishes all caught up and got some valuable knitting time in. Unfortunately, no pics to show for it because they are BORING! I’m still working on Audrey’s sleeves. Now I’m about halfway finished with them. I hope I can finish them soon because I am VERY tired of working on them.

To top off my weekend, I got my final secret pal gift. I will have to show you pictures of that. It’s beautiful purple cotton blend yarn (Gedifra, but I don’t remember the name of the actual yarn). It made my day and my secret pal rocked all the way through! Now, I just need to figure out what to make with it. This week, I’m going to pull out all of my yarn and take inventory of what I have to remind myself that I don’t need to buy more. Once I finish Sophie, I think I’m going to have to take on a tank as my second project (with Audrey still continuing). Looking forward to next weekend already.
