Don’t Make Me

…go back to work. I just had a heavenly lunch. I work in an old house, so we have a back porch. It’s a beautiful day here, so I sat on the back porch to eat my lunch. When I finished, I kicked back and worked on Audrey. I did have a student worker come back and ask me what I was doing, but otherwise, I was uninterrupted. It was just me, the calmer, and a nice breeze.

Okay, back to reality. This week will be pretty busy at work, but I’ve got lots of play time scheduled, too. Tonight, my friend (who’s wedding I’m in in a week and a half) is coming down to see my house and hang out for a bit. I think I’ll cook dinner but I’m having troubles deciding what to cook. Then, Thursday night I’m going to a friend’s house to watch the Friends Finale. I’m excited because this is someone I’ve hung out with but don’t know very well and she’s having other friends over, too. I like making new friends (could I sound more like I’m in the third grade?). šŸ™‚ Then, Friday my friend from Michigan is in town and wants to hang out. So, you can see that I’ll be busy, but it’s with fun stuff instead of homework! We’ll just ignore that paper I have to write on Sunday for now.

I don’t know why I felt compelled to give you a play by play of my week, but it’s there so I’ll leave it. All of these folks going to the MS&W festival and getting to meet other bloggers “in the flesh” really makes me wish I was there. I so want to meet some of you guys in real life. I have to figure out a way to make that happen. Too bad there’s not some sort of Knitbloggers National Meet-up. That could be interesting. šŸ™‚ Maybe I should start planning now to go to MS&W next year. Hmmm…

  1. A national meetup IS a great idea. Of course, finding a location and time to please everyone would be impossible…but it would be fun.
