This week marks one year since I started this blog. It all started because I was a part of the Boatneck Shell knitalong and wanted somewhere to chronicle my experiences for the other knitalongers. It has grown into much more. Through this blog I not only have a community of support and input, but I am able to recognize what I’m learning. These are the things that have changed since last year, both knitting and otherwise.
1. I got a dog named T-Bone 🙂
2. I made my first garment that was wearable, and my second, and my third, now I’m on my fourth.
3. I’ve been a part of several knitalongs, some that I finished and some that I didn’t.
4. I have met a bunch of very fun people, virtually met them anyway.
5. I have moved into a house that has a yarn closet.
It’s fun to look back over the past year and see what I’ve learned and how I’ve grown as a knitter. I hope that I can say that each year that I continue to knit. Oh, and for you picture starved folks out there (as I haven’t featured one in a while), here’s where I am on Birch so far. It’s virtually impossible to get a good picture so this will have to do.
Has it been a year already? Wow! Congratulations on you bloggiversry.
That pattern is beautiful.
I bid on a house and got the bid. I have 10 days to check it all out and get an assesment….then closing will be in May. Whew!!!! I am pretty much just numb about it but I am sure I will get more excited as my shock wears off.
Happy Blogday, indeed! I’m so thankful for happy accidents like the one that resulted in our little online knitting group and several new friendships. Congrats on the knitting accomplishments over the last year. May the next year be even more fruitful!
Congrats on a year of blogging! I’m so glad I’ve met you through the Yahoo group and our blogs…it’s so fun to have a community like this!
Happy blogaversary! It’s been great getting to know you – I hope we have the chance to meet up for real, as well as virtually!
