Two Years…

ems_wedding_js2.bmp

Yesterday was my two year wedding anniversary. They say time flies when you’re having fun and I think that must be true because the last two years seem to have flown by. It is really fun to look back at the times we have shared and the things we’ve accomplished and then look forward to many more fun-filled years together. Last night, Jason made steaks for us and dinner was so good. This weekend, we are going to celebrate by going out to eat somewhere nice and exchanging gifts. The traditional gift for a two year anniversary is cotton, so I’m very hopeful! šŸ™‚ I still need to decide what I’m getting him so I can get it before Saturday.

I also got a lot of knitting time last night. I finished an afghan square and got started on my Critter Knitters blanket. I’m using a big yarn with some big needles so I’m hoping it will go really fast and enable me to make a bunch! I’m going to continue working on afghan squares and critter blankets until April 1st when I start Audrey. Oh, and I need to get going on those No Sweat pants, too. I’ve kinda stalled out on them after knitting the first two legs, so I’ll pick those up again this weekend. Can I just tell you how much I’m looking forward to this weekend? We only have fun things planned! Happy hour with some friends on Friday, plenty of chill time and our anniversary dinner on Saturday, homework and household chores on Sunday and I have Monday off, too! So, I’m hoping to make a lot of progress on neglected work so I can knit guilt-free. Happy Wednesday!

  1. Ummm, how many legs do the sweat pants have? lol Sorry, just sounded funny that you stopped after the first two legs…..as in maybe they are made for someone with more than 2 legs, ya know??? Guess I need to see the pattern, huh?

  2. Congratulations, Sarah! I love that picture of you and your husband. I would love to see a better picture of that dress…it looks gorgeous! I love that color…and it has a matching wrap, huh? You are right about time going by so quickly…. can you believe how fast the last year had gone by?! Again, congratulations!
