illness
Being sick is no fun! I know this is not an epiphany by any means but to be too sick to knit is a horrible way to be. That’s how I spent most of the week. I’m finally feeling human again! Yippee! I did get some knitting done. The only thing I completed was this baby ensemble. You’ve already seen the sweater, I just made a hat and my first pair of booties to match. I don’t know if it will all fit but it’s cute anyway, and the hat and booties were just made with scrap yarn I had left over from the sweater.
houses
The other craziness that has kept me away from the blog world this week (I’ve hardly checked in on any of my friends) is house shopping. We’ve been looking for about a year and a half off and on but finally feel like we hit the jackpot with a neighborhood and builder so we may be building a house! If we do, it will have enough bedrooms for my husband and I to have a craft room! How much fun is that! He builds paintball guns and computers, so he would have room for that, and I would have room for my yarn and supplies. Yay! I’ll keep you posted how it all turns out. Well, this week I have more college fairs but they are all in Houston so I should be around!
we bought our first house 2 years ago and i have 2 rooms
in the basement that are the laundry room and guest room
that i use for sewing, yarn, my office, storage and I LOVE
it. good luck
That purple baby ensemble is super sweet, Sarah. I hope you’re enjoying your travels!
Sarah, love the baby ensemble! So cute! What’s
new with the house? Come to our group and fill us
in on everything.
We have a large Victorian and I have a knitting room. It’s wonderful. I have a knitting lamp, radio and mini-coffeemaker.
