half a baby sweater
Just a quick post today. I came home tonight and finished a sleeve for the baby raglan. So, I’m now the proud owner of half a baby sweater.
needles on fire
I’m knitting like my needles are on fire because I have so many projects planned. I’m so motivated to finish the projects I already have the yarn for so that I can start creating more! I picked up the Vogue Knitting and Interweave Knits magazines today and got a lot of ideas. VK has several patterns I want to try. Interweave Knits served more as eye-candy but did get my creative juices flowing. So, I’ll be working hard to move through my “to do” list so I can start on sweaters! I have plenty of time since I will be unable to wear a sweater until like December knowing Texas weather, but that’s next on the agenda.
otherwise bored
In another area of life, I’m bored. I’m so tired of work right now. My job goes in cycles and I’m nearing the end of one cycle and becoming increasingly anxious for the next, travel season! I travel starting in September and am very ready to have a different schedule. I only get to travel in Texas, but it means that I get to see new places, meet new people everywhere I go and hopefully have some downtime to knit. Only a few more weeks.
That baby sweater is so cute! How long did it take to knit so far? I’ve never knitted baby clothes, but I bet it’s satisfying because it’s so much faster.
P.S. Your blog looks faaaaaaab-u-lous!
The baby sweater is looking good! Don’t worry, this sweater will knit up in no time and you’ll be able to move on to your other projects without breaking a sweat :).
look how cute it is with the striped sleeves! you have more patience than i. i’m all about the solids. 🙂
check out my blog for one baby bootie. i’m a slowpoke this week- too much going on.
Stripes I can do…it’s intarsia that I don’t have the patience for. The stripes are really easy since I’m just doing two at a time. I got the idea from alison’s blog (the blue blog) and the sweetheart/star sweaters she’s been working on.
